Several awesome reasons to read A Bite at the Cherry / Midnight Secrets:
- Even though January is being raised by an alcoholic mother with almost no money for food and rent she's NOT a whiny brat. Thank goodness!
- Justin knows how to keep secrets. Too bad they make him appear intimidating. And hot!
- The attraction between them is sweet and sexy. While remaining PG.
- At 66% you'll think you've figured out Justin's secret. And you'll be wrong!
The underlying story may be about vampires, however, this is also about January's determination to avoid toxic relationships and to prove she can rise above her circumstances. My heart was racing when she was going through the trials! Can't wait for book 2!
