I really enjoyed this!! It was so amazing to see depression and anxiety written WITH the societal stigma that often goes along with mental health. I really loved the (slightly predictable) twist and thoroughly plan on read more in the series. The characters were really sweet and I loved the chemistry. Kinda sad we don’t get more of an epilogue.

A very cute story. Lily Chu's books are fun, with well developed characters. I loved the twist at the end and Phillipa Soo's narration is excellent. 3.5, The Comeback has a slight edge for me.

It’s a romantic fiction book (closed door) which isn’t usually my thing. Good writing and I got invested in the story, but the conflict felt a bit abrupt and forced and things got a little messy leading up to the resolution. I liked it overall.

Overall, I thought this was a very sweet romance novel that would work for all types of readers. It wasnt too spicy but had so many sweet moments. The subplot with Gracie's mom had me tearing up at times. And I did see the twist coming but it was satisfying. I only wish there was a bit more at the end because I didn't feel 100% resolved when there were no more pages left to read.
