This was a great romance and an engaging story. Very much a slow burn as Gracie Lee meets the movie star Wei-Fang Lei and her leading man Sam. Wei-Fang Lei needs a break and although Sam objects Gracie Lee looks like Wei-Fang and takes on the job of being her for a few months. She and Sam begin to spend time together and get to know each other. There is also the friendship between Wei-Fang and Gracie that is very sweet and I enjoyed the character of Gracie so much. She was a people pleaser, who didn't always trust and believe in her own worth and she had so much growth during the story. It was also funny and I listened to it on Audible and the narrator was terrific. Definitely one to pick up this year.

One of my all time favorite movies from growing up is model behavior, and this story line was very similar to it so I loved it. And I loved that the characters are Asian!! This was super cute and I loved it so much

The main character is so annoying. She refuses to take accountability for anything. All she does it complain. I understand that mental illness is a real thing and our heroine does suffer from anxiety and depression but I couldn’t muster any sympathy for her.
The romance feels forced.

LOVED this book! I found it on Audible's "free with membership" listings.

It is charming and well written with very relatable characters. More depth than I expected from a cross between a Rom-Com and Women's Fiction. I want more books by this author!
