Well I'm glad I'm done with this duology.

Look I like it when the love interests have to grovel as much as the next person but the groveling in this book didn't really hit for me. Don't get me wrong, they groveled for a whileee.

Oh well, not every book hits for everyone.

Layla: strong asf. Love how long she held strong but her wavering endurance against the pack's advances didn't do it for me. Girl didn't have a backbone when it came to curbing her hormones and I really tried putting that on her hormones, only this happened throughout the book.

Atlas: he became a lil cutie in this one. I love when tough men go soft.l butter the problem comes up when there isn't really a build up to that change. We know he always wants to be in control so him being so docile when that control is challenged just doesn't click right.

Finn: I still love this little psycho. I don't have much to say other than that.

Jett: what he became will forever be my favorite outcome.
Man became so docile and obedient. It's the cutest thing ever seeing tough men submit to their girl. I loved him by the end tbh. Despite his words being the harshest at the end of the 1st book.

I really wish we got to see him overcome his trauma but I suppose he found comfort in Layla. Their dynamic somewhat makes sense. (I'll stake what I get. Can't really change what's written)

Orion: his description makes him sound absolutely ethereal and I love that. Also like how the author managed his relationship with the pack and Layla.

I absolutely loved this book. I loved what Hunter did to make sure the rest of the pack didn't ruin things with Lilah. He really took over all responsibilities and is definitely a better leader than Atlas was and I feel like Hunter actually helped Atlas get out of a position he never wanted in the first place even if that wasn't his original intention.

I also love how Orion sticks with Lilah throughout this entire book, picking her over and over again and saying he would always be with Lilah even if she didn't want the rest of the pack. They also play some funny pranks on their alpha's while the guys are trying to make things up with Lilah and show her they'll never hurt her again.

I also love what Jett (JJ) does to the girls that bullied and physically hurt Lilah. And I love how he actually submits to Lilah even though he's her alpha.

I really enjoyed the fact that most of the people who hurt or were after Lilah throughout the two books ended up humiliated, dead, or fired. The ending of this was amazing. I loved seeing all the roles that the pack takes in their pack and the aftermath of what happened and seeing everyone happy and together.

I'd definitely recommend this.
