This was a fun read. I love Anthony Horowitz. I enjoyed all the play on words and the names of characters, etc. Typical AH with a teen protagonist. Also written in the 1st person POV which worked well with the humour.

Read this as this month's theme for my library's "Crime Bubble" was "Children's crime fiction".
It was a fast paced, enjoyable read. Definitely darker themes to the "Famous Five" I read when a child.
Even though aimed at children I was gripped to find out how it all worked out. Highly recommended if you're an adult and you need a break from very dark crime and want something a bit different to usual "cozy crime"
