I really wanted to be able to give this book a higher rating and suggest it to my school but it was too hard to follow due to the choppy style. I loved the idea of the ghost train but it quickly became confusing, such a shame. There needs to be more books that appeal to middle school and YA that address race/racism and police brutality.

Amazing. Impactful. The most moving graphic novel I’ve read to date, and one of the most moving novels I’ve read, in general. I cried multiple times throughout it. The amazingly told story and how it parallels to the world we live in currently, hurts so bad, and is another harsh reminder that there is so much work to still be done. Everyone who can, needs to read this.
