Discover the locations in the novel
I haven’t been to Aspen and I haven’t been skiing either but now I feel I have! This is the best way to visit a skiing lodge isn’t it? No risk of injury and it’s lovely and cosy in the armchair where I read this. Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to ‘live’ this novel, but for now, it’s the perfect read!
I’m even breaking my no Christmas novels before December rule and it was totally worth it! The Colorado setting, the snow, the idea of a wedding……aahh it was just all so lovely. There’s cosiness and romance yes, but there’s also some ups and downs along the way for the characters of course, so there’s lots to enjoy.
Sarah Morgan is a writer who is fast becoming one of my go-to feel good authors and this is a charming read. It’s pure escapism and it’s a delightful literary journey!
The story itself is fresh and interesting. There might be a marriage, there might not; the family all have their hidden problems; there’s trouble on the horizon etc but this is wrapped up in such a nice Christmas package. I liked the multiple POV and the way each character was nicely drawn, distinct and unique so that I felt part of the family from the start. That’s the skill of this writer – you don’t just get great locations, but she gives you a whole cast of friends to go with!
The Morgan magic does it again.
Soooooo many missing words and grammatical issues that I couldn't finish the book.
I wasn't sure about this one but I know Sarah Morgan is highly recommended so I took a chance on this one and really enjoyed it. Again, I love stories told from different perspectives and this one was great. A light and easy great for December read!
“But life goes on, right? You keep walking, even when your feet are bleeding and you can hardly stand upright.”
It took me a while to get into this book, I think the first chapters are kind of boring and not very thrilling, but from Maggie and Nick's arrival to the airport and on I started to really get into the story. I was really invested in Maggie and Nick's story, I don't why it it me the hardest, but I liked all of the characters and relationships. I think the characters (especially Katie) can get on your nerves sometimes, but the author does a good job of balancing out their flaws with their qualities and with giving you a valid reason for their behaviour. I also enjoyed the importance that was given to family dynamics and honest communation, other than the romance.
In general, this is a pretty feel-good and cozy book, I enjoyed it quite a lot.

It took me a long time to finish this book. It just wasn’t that exciting.

A MUST READ FOR CHRISTMAS!
This is the 13th book I have read by Sarah Morgan and again like all the other, it was brilliant. I loved that we could read from three different POV, I love each storyline and honestly I wanted the book to be longer!!!
Classic Sarah Morgan back to greatness (I’ll admit I was less than impressed with her last offering, not her usual brilliant self, but I’m so ecstatic she’s back on form as she is one of my favourite authors. Chocked full of amazing relatable and warm characters, great humour, family, friendship, love and a little bit of drama. A lovely seasonal read, like a warm hug on a cold night. Highly recommended
