I have read many of Sarah Morgan’s books and some of them miss for me. I was very disinterested in the outcome of the wedding and all of the family’s secret problems and couldn’t fathom continuing.

Book 130 of 2024: A Wedding In December - Sarah Morgan

Rosie is about to get married - it’s a whirlwind after a shock proposal and setting a Christmas Eve date with only a few weeks to plan! Her parents, Maggie and Nick, and her sister Katie are all flying over from London to Aspen for the wedding and to meet her new groom for the first time. But with doubts around the wedding and secrets within the family, will everything go smoothly?

Review:
⭐️ 5/5

A very charming read which also touches on a lot of emotional topics and focuses upon the need for communication within relationships. I loved the alternating between Maggie, Katie and Rosie’s perspectives which really added depth to the family and their individual problems. This book was much deeper than I had anticipated but still remained a lighthearted and enjoyable read whilst maintaining a foot firmly rooted in reality. I loved the character development and how once they all opened up to each other the overwhelming issues felt more manageable - a good life lesson there!

Loved this book so much. It was warm and fuzzy and sweet and was the perfect Christmas read. I enjoyed the books substance - it wasn’t boring but it was lovely seeing these families and them struggling with their own issues and how it all came together. I think the character that surprised me the most was Catherine. It’s definitely the perfect book to read during the holiday season!
