Well, that was a waste of time. It was basically a combination of completely juvenile, awful writing that made me cringe every time I opened the book and flat characters.

A fun, fantasy version of The Bachelor, I loved rereading this, though I was very irritated at the Aspen parts.

I generally liked the book EXCEPT FOR the predictability and because I wanted the entire book for them to get together but they haven’t yet so I will continue the series. Also why didn’t she say something about aspen? I want him outta there Maxon is better then he ever will be. Anyways I will continue the series but overall just felt like I knew what would happen and also lots of anger haha but hopefully once they finally get together it’ll be ok. Also…Celeste literally harassed America and maxon still keeps her there….im sorry but no. I get that she’s a 2 and comes from a good family but out with her please goodness.

Oooh this is turning out to be an epic love triangle - I sense some broken hearts up ahead...
Maxon the sweet heart VS Aspen and his desire to purely make out *ugh*

I have tons more to say... buttt no time to say it (EXAMSSS

I know it probably isn’t a 5-star read for most people, but I was looking at my criteria for a 5-star read and it checks every single box. No, it isn’t the most thought-provoking or maturely written book ever. It is, however, so enticing and cute and makes you want to pick up the next book ASAP. I was so fond of this book in middle school and I still eat it up now. Probably a 4.75/5 but I’m standing firm in my rating.
