My least favorite book of the four. I felt this was overdone and had a climax that did not deliver. I was pleasantly fulfilled though with the very, very end of the book, but will not read it again as I will the first three.

I think that it was a good novel, however, some parts I found were dry. In the other Twilight novels there was always something that kept Bella, Edward, and Jacob or ,one of them at least, on edge. This novel, I thought, was good because I like all of the other novels, and you can't just like 1 novel in a series. I liked the romance in it. I was great util it came to the part where Bella is dying. It was all excitment to see how Bella acts after she is turned into a vampire. She, and the other Cullens, thought that she wouldn't be herself for a few years after the change, you would hardly notice that she is even a vampire besides the fact of her red eyes and how she is so pale, how she looks pained near humans..... But she doesn't even notice the thirst when she first comes out of the change. That is what I love about these books, they are romantic, they keep you on edge to see what happens next. Yeah, they are a little boring at parts, but they are also very descriptive. I can actually visualize everything that's happening in the novel. Some novels you can't really visualize exactly what's happening, in the Twilight Saga they have that much description that you CAN visualize what's happening. Praise for Stephenie Meyer. Not all authors can do that.

unironically rating 5 stars. best thing to come out of the 2008 global economic collapse (only if you turn off all critical thinking faculties)

As much as I adored the Twilight books, even if I AM chagrined by it, this book made me ask one thing (several, several, SEVERAL times):
WTF?

I waited in line at midnight for this? I really wish I hadn't gone through with reading this edition. I'm so sorry to say.

It was fine. Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it. It left an imprint on literature, that’s for sure.

⭐⭐⭐
This book is good and worth reading. I enjoyed it but it felt a little lacking. I may recommend it to a certain audience. It gave me mixed feelings, possibly with potential it didn’t quite live up to. It’s a good experience, not amazing, but not bad.
