Cute. Quaint. Fun. Little unbalanced. I would like some full blown novels/novellas from this series. I'd also like this take used on Empire and Jedi.

On the whole this was a really good selection of short stories with a wonderfully vast range in terms of tone and style - there were some weaker areas and points where it felt like the same stories were getting repeated just in different fonts, but overall this gave a really good view of ANH from a certain point of view (geddit?). I would definitely recommend reading this out of order though.
