I’ve never taken this long to read it a book in all my life. Half the time I was shouting for Edward to stfu and the other half I was thinking all his problems would be solved if he just had beat one out.

Also, it’s solidified that he is the most accidentally misogynistic character ever to be written.

Oh, and he knew what would happen to Bella when he would leave her in new moon. Boyfriend goals

Too long and for what!!!! justice for Rosalie because this book just made her seem like such a bitch when she’s so much more nuanced than that!!! The best part of this book was alice my beloved

This book is leaps and bounds better than Twilight and I’ll die on that hill.
If she rewrote the whole series from Edward’s perspective, I’d gladly dive right back into being Twilight-obsessed again.

reading this was very nostalgic but also, mind-blowing. i can’t believe edward is somehow even less likeable when allowed to defend himself. i miss the benefit of the doubt that came from being able to see him from bella’s POV. but no, apparently he is putting excruciating amounts of thought into every poor/questionable decision he makes, then going through with it anyway. god love him. literally.
