Synopsis: Patricia, a psychotherapist, provides snippets into a few sessions she has with one client, James until the therapy is terminated.

It's a short book so I finished it in one sitting. I was particularly interested in reading this book to gain some insights into therapy sessions, on how to ask questions or how one picks up on subtle things as I'm taking a client in my university's counseling centre. So, I did learn a few things. I'll keep going back to this book in a few months when I'll graduate and will be able to call myself a psychologist.

What I like about this book is that it's for anyone and everyone. A layman who knows nothing about therapy can read this book. OR a therapist can too. I guess I'll buy this book and have it in my collection in my office (when I have it one day)

cute book, made me smile a lot. although I didn't learn anything new, it was interesting to see the perspectives of both Pat and James and their reflections on the conversation and the things remaining unsaid

It was an interesting read, but I don't think I really gained anything from it. I guess I'm just not the target audience. I think it would be good for intellectual men who are sceptical about therapy and want to see the inner workings before exploring it for themselves.
