At the end of ZA3, I had originally decided I couldn’t bear to leave the Vegas & the Heirs to read a prequel series, and so I read some RB spoilers so I wouldn’t be completely in the dark. This was working out okay, but then… I finished ZA6 l. I’ve been ADORING Gabriel, and then Dante turned up and then there was a kind of Leon cameo you only recognise in like an IYKYK way… and honestly I had no choice. I just couldn’t rid myself of the feeling I was missing out on more Easter eggs and little things like OMG bits, which I generally THRIVE on being in on.

So I finished ZA6 and I realised that actually, the point where ZA6 ends is like the perfect place to take a beat… so I read The Awakening ATBTB because that’s what the thing told me to do next, and now I’ve just finished Dark Fae.

I have to say, I wish I had read it when I was supposed to because damn, it was goooood! I’ve never read a why choose reverse-harem, I wasn’t sure if I’d like it. Honestly, being that I have a reverse-harem of book husbands, you’d think I’d love it. Let’s say it’s not my favourite trope, but I get it! In Elise’s position I’d probably (want to) do the exact same goddamn thing. The amount of broody dark bad boy here is like a buffet. Not to mention the story is good too
