I loved learning about the history and culture of a specific Korean community through one woman’s story. Beautifully written, heartbreaking, and engaging. There is one particularly sensitive scene (TW). I listened to this on audio and loved having the Korean words read to me.

I don't think it would be fair for me to rate this one. Still processing my thoughts. Very informational and a good introduction to an often-little discussed part of history but the fact it's not an own voices story makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.
