i like the concepts laid out in the book but Covey occasionally goes into too many personal details about his family that I did not need to know.

Surprisingly liked this one a little more re-reading a few years later. I still have a few gripes with the book, but the recommendations and content within was better than I remembered it being.

I'd give this book zero if I could. The author is a pompous ass who can't get to the point quickly if it would save his life. He's redundant and contradictive. The book is incredibly outdated both in idea and examples. The whole thing is simply no longer relevant to anyone living in the present.

Some good points in there that can he applied to life as well as work situations. The book does however repeat itself and goes on about a particular subject for too long.
