Really enjoyed it!

A very engaging read about characters who have already taken more than a few emotional hits. Kristie is Black Hawk helicopter pilot and the widow of an Army Ranger killed in action. She is the pilot sent to pick up the Bad Karma strike team on a mission in Columbia. Mack volunteered to provide a distraction to allow his team to escape the cartel thugs after them. Kristie recognizes the dangers of Mack’s job, but he awakens her desires and tempts her something fierce.

The storyline is engaging and enjoyable with romance, steam, some angst and a good dash or two of adrenaline. This was my first book by the author and I look forward to reading more as the other team members caught my interest and curiosity for their stories.

This book grabbed me from the get go, not only does it have action, adventure but pain, loss and hop as well as a good dollop of attraction and a host of great characters. You connect with Kristie and Mack straight away and really want them to get together but they have a lot to push them apart and stop them from acting on how they really feel. I loved all the characters and the comradely the guys as well as gals show is fantastic especially they way the all come together when needed and they embrace Kristie's loss and know it is part of her. I can not wait to read the next book in this series!
