I loved the way culture, family dynamic, and romance was portrayed in this novel
While things did work out a1 magically in the end, the journey there was worth reading

I really did not like this book. There was one too many tropes. I especially hated that Nozomi hated on Willow when she despised her mom for cheating on her dad. I also didn’t like the cast that she was so forgiving of her extremely homophobic grandma. I think it would have been much better if it was either enemies to lovers with Delà or fake dating with Willow, not both. I also did not like that her and her brother had a very stereotypical relationship.

The subjects covered were appropriate and thorough - primarily about loss, divorce, aging grandparents, and young romance. Also, the author’s note at the end was very well said
