Better than the first installment in this series. Colin and Maggie are a good couple and the plot is well written. I liked to see again also Eleonor and Brice again. Mostly I loved that Maggie was such a Tomboy and full of spirit.
Meglio del primo volume di questa serie, fondamentalmente perché Colin e Maggie sono una bella coppia e lei é pieno di spirito ed avventura. Sono stata anche contenta di rivedere Eleonor e Brice ed ora aspetto per l'ultimo volume (credo) di questa serie dove capiremo da che parte sta Campbell.

Our poor heroine. Women had such little control in the past its hard not to get really angry on our heroine's behalf.
What a charming book! I loved the characters and want to read more of their adventures. Maggie is a girl after my own heart. She fiercely believes in her own strength, and is willing to do anything to pursue her passions. Colin is a worthy partner, and their romance is hot and sweet.
