Sapphic time travel…I’m here and I’m seated. A girl from 1812 and a girl from 2023 have a surprising amount of things in common, come to think of it. It’s like a love story between two American Girl dolls from two separate time periods. The lore behind why Mr. Montgomery's time travel abilities were incredibly well done! This man wished he was anywhere but the coal mine and backflipped into a kickass time travel ability…put him in the MCU. The ending also reminded me a little bit of the ending of the Barbie movie.

Cute as a button, and the characters are adorable, but where was Pride & Prejudice?! I feel scammed 😭
Except for a couple references and the time period, there's not much of it on this story. I appreciate the clever alliteration on the title as much as the next bookworm, but as a hardcore fan of the Austen novel I feel like a kid who was promised cake and got fruit for dessert 😖 Good, sweet, sure it can be a dessert, I guess, but it doesn't hit the spot that well, you know?
