I have been reading this aloud to my children at night before bedtime, and they absolutely love it (okay...I am enjoying myself too!). They snuggle up next to me and beg for another chapter (and another...and another!). We are totally looking forward to continuing our new bedtime tradition with the 39-Story Treehouse!

great fun book for kids. I wanted to see what the hype was about and my son got it for Christmas. this one is the HOW Terry Andy and Jill met. I think I got those names right. and they run into a pirate and have to get away 3 times. fun book. but not much about the treehouse.

3.5/5 An excellent introduction to chapter books for younger readers. The humourous story and plentiful illustrations will appeal to children aged 6-11, this series is a firm favourite among my pupils and I can see why!
