Forever Your Rogue was so engaging and so heart warming. The romance was superb, all the beats hit perfectly for me. His falling in love with her children had was just *chefs kiss*. My daddy issues were activated. I picture him as a historical Phil Dunphy.
Everything about this book worked for me and I’m so glad it had an epilogue. I cannot wait to read more Erin Langston.

DNF at 62% because I can’t anymore.
I know everyone else loves this, but it put me in a reading slump even Terry Pratchett couldn’t pull me out of. I get why this is doing well. What I don’t get is the degree to which it’s resonating with seemingly everyone.
It’s very well written (despite the anachronistic language/football metaphors), characters are nice, the child custody plot is well done, but the pace is just…so…slow.
It’s fine. But nothing new. Nothing exciting. If this book were a drink it would be milky tea.
