A must read for any Penn State fan. This is a remarkable story of a young man in his prime becoming paralyzed during. Doctors gave him very little chance of ever walking again, yet that is just what he went on to do. In the author's telling of this story, the reader really gets to know Adam Taliaferro and his family especially well. A number of things got the Adam Taliaferro over and through such a devastating injury. But one of the biggest factors was his never give up attitude. No matter how bleak things looked, he never ever gave up hope that he would walk again. He was a true battler through this situation as his positive attitude. He always believed that he would walk again and defied the opinions of medical experts.
