"Another Year, Another Sunstone"

It's interesting to see how much this series has grown, and how much I've grown while reading it. Even still, it remains a constant source of joy for me to engage with it every year.

Yet again Sejic is able to combine kink and fluff in the amazing 7th volume of sunstone Mercy.

We dive more into Alan and Anne’s past relationships and learn about how they each got into the bdsm community when they were younger. This story is just absolutely amazing. I am loving every second of it.

AH! Yay! I finally got this! I know I can read it online, but there's just something about having the printed copy in my hands.

So, to the story.
To quote Mr. Sejic, this is the calm before the storm, so there wasn't all that much going on, but it was still very entertaining and fun, and such a good way to make characters. And Mr. Sejic does that amazingly. His art is so expressionat and personal and close, somehow, and many of the pictures tell a story of its own.

I have to admit that I was a little afraid what I'd think of this book, because I remember reading vol 6 and thinking that Anne's part was fun, but Allan's was a little boring, for we already knew all of it from the original ARC. I was afraid it would be the same here, but no, it wasn't. I think it was how it was told, the hints of what was to come mixed in with the things that were. It was well done. I almost regret giving vol 6 a top rating, because I want this one to have a higher rating. Well see when I do a reread if it happens or not.

Now just to wait another year for the next volume... Luckily, he has other stuff coming out this year! And a lot of online stuff that I do read.
