This book was delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed it, with one quibble: the whole misunderstanding about how they felt about one another part was too drawn-out. Otherwise, it was such a joy to read. It was exactly the kind of nerd girl romance I've been waiting a long, long time for.

This was not a masterpiece of the rom-com genre, but I read it in one sitting which means it’s enjoyable enough. I would have liked more evidence to Jeremy’s self-reformation, but otherwise it was a totally fine fade-to-black romance. And sometimes that’s exactly what I need.

Excellent rom-com! The author went in a unique story telling way. Where she built this whole world without the romance and then fit it in once the female lead was established and where the story seemed to end up. It had amazing fleshed out female friendships, and was self aware about the troupes typically surrounding these stories. Ugh so good
