Love a lighthearted romance with a smidge of fake dating! Melody and Jeremy’s characters were really likeable but they didn’t feel fleshed out enough and the plot was pretty predictable.
It’s a quick and easy read but it didn’t stand out.

Y’all thought Ali Hazelwoods smart girl romances were cringy? You ain’t seen nothing… this is the cringiest of cringe! There’s some good here but mostly it’s very average and takes soooo long to get into to. And I want more smart girl stuff. Not enough smart girl stuff.

It isn’t enough to say that cheating/infidelity is a trigger warning for this book. It’s a major theme. *Everyone* cheats on everyone in this book. And it’s excused. Every. Time. It isn’t just that they’re forgiven, it’s said each time that they had a good reason. There really is no good excuse for cheating, and the author’s morals make me want to puke.
