Not terrible. The 'mystery' was deeply obvious and I still don't like rich people but the main couple was okay and it was cool that even though it's a historical the FMC had a job and there were people of Arab descent.

Hanna Zaydoun, the Palestinian FMC, is a bonesetter practicing in London. Thomas Ellis, the Viscount Griffin (“Griff”), is following a trail of clues to uncover the truth behind his parents’ murder. Both Hanna and Griff are fighting against societal forces attempting to undermine them. Hanna is the target of the medical community who are out to discredit her practice, on top of the fact that she is a woman and an Arab. Griff is pushing back against the gossip that has haunted him since the death of his parents, but also feels immense pressure to observe propriety when a secret is revealed that helps absolve him, All throughout, these two can’t help their attraction. Quincy’s heroes in this series have difficulty comprehending how any woman could refuse their marriage offer (Them: but, but, I’m a lord!). The FMC’s have to explain multiple times how challenging it would be to have a multicultural marriage and that it would potentially ostracize them from their own community. This installment was solid, but I enjoyed Her Night With the Duke more. The Viscount Made Me Do It had a much slower burn and the added twist of a murder mystery plotline keeping these two in close proximity.

This was good but not great. I LOVED the FMC, Hanna, and the MMC, Griffin, was alright I guess? The interactions felt a little rushed like the couple was “in love” after making out one time. I wanted more detail and tension between them. I did enjoy the cameo with Leelah from Her Night with the Duke and the sneak peek at Brandon from Marquess on the Move. Dr Pratt was truly the worst but again I felt like interactions were rushed between him and Griffin. I will definitely read more Quincy this just wasn’t my fave.
