i enjoyed this book even tho it didn’t really have a good plot until the last couple chapters lol. but i had fun going around england with noah and goose, and i fee like even tho not much happened in this book, it’s still an important part of noah’s arc. AND CAN WE TALK ABT THE ENDING. “forget mara. both of them” IM CONFUSED AND SAD AND IDK WHAT TO FEEL I NEED SOMEONE TO HELP ME lol. but like i rlly hope that noah didn’t forget mara because i would be pissed off. i just want noah and mara to get back together and live happily ever after. i also want jamie and goose to get together bc that’s iconic lol. i need the 3rd book rn

Thank you to Edelweiss for the digital review copy.

This was a fantastic addition to the story of Mara Dyer and Noah Shaw. If you enjoyed the Mara Dyer trilogy, then the Noah Shaw Confessions are a must read.

The story continues with Noah and friends trying to solve the mystery of teen suicides among teens with special abilities. Without giving too much away, I’ll just say Hodkin continues this dark and twisty tale with the same witty, broken, and lovable characters we know from past books. After reading, fans will be left with many questions and the desire for the next installment!

Oh my GOD. Michelle Hodkin has done it again. Each and every twist and turn of Noah's story had me latching onto the fender and swinging along. If I wasn't already entirely in love with this series, this book would have made me fall head over heels. I closed the book with a list of theories that I'm sure Michelle will prove to me I am completely WRONG about. It's been a few days and I'm still reeling.

Nothing will ever come close to the way I felt after reading the first Mara Dyer book. I think the books just get slightly worse and worse as the series goes on and enters the Noah Shaw series, but I'm still going to read it because Noah Shaw was my #1 crush when I was 12 okay!? Also Noah is probably the only person in the whole series I trust 100%. I know a lot of people might be upset at Mara's absence from the book, but I was pretty much fine with it.
Nothing really happened except for the end and the series is confusing. It's been confusing me since the last Mara Dyer book and I don't know if I'm just stupid or if the writing is unclear. I still don't understand what I just read, and it sucks that no one has written a synopsis on wikipedia because I just need to understand what's happening!! What I did understand was stupid and made no sense.
I literally don't know what to write because I felt absolutely nothing while reading this book. I hope the next book is better and after that.. I hope there's no continuation with this series. I already dislike the science-y aspect of this book, the characters confuse me, and I don't really care about anyone besides Noah and Goose. The only reason why I was fine with this book having absolutely no plot was because we got to see Noah and Goose be idiots in London and that was pretty fun.

“I don’t think I can get back to home. That feeling I had in Brooklyn, like I belonged somewhere for the first time in my life? That wasn’t New York—it was Mara. I can’t remember feeling at home before her, or since.”
