Thought it would be more entertaining but I feel as if nothing happened throughout the entire plot.

Overall, an excellent ensemble cast, but the story could have been a little longer.

I received an ecopy of this book through Netgalley; however, my opinions are my own.

Six Angry Girls by Adrienne Kisner--This is a fun story about high school girls navigating romance, extracurriculars, and knitting. It features young women in drama and mock trial, two causes very near to my heart, but something didn't click for me. I think it's primarily that the different characters who have voices in the story didn't sound all that different, and it made the narrative somewhat muddled. I wouldn't recommend this book, but it wasn't bad! Sideways thumb.

this is the kind of book that can change your life (or at least mine). the themes explored in six angry girls were so impactful and beautifully done. this is easily my favorite book. it made me think about who i really want to be and what i believe in. it also made me realize that what i believe matters and i shouldn’t try to hide it to please others, especially when people are hurting because of it.

it also doesn’t hurt that this had a subplot of a politically active knitting circle and i absolutely love crocheting. reading about yarn bombing was so fun !!
