Bit of an unrelated issue to start, but the digital copy I got from Nook is BACKWARDS for some reason, starting on the last page and then ending on the cover. I had to read it twice to get what was happening as a result. It was readable if you flipped the pages right to left manga-style, but my brain kept trying to read the speech bubbles manga-style as well even though they were in regular English word order, so...yeah, that's a drag, but that has nothing to do with the actual story. I just wanted you guys to know my pain.

SpoilerWeakest one so far due to repetitive dialogue/themes. We get it, Kratos just wants to be left alone, fate and destiny, okay, yeah, we get it. I don't think this would flow better even if I read all the issues at once (if anything, I think it would make the repetition worse), so this is definitely a writing issue. Doesn't help that the issue is an extended fight scene, which just isn't interesting to me PERSONALLY, but that's more of a minor quibble comparatively. Also, the use of "hell" coming from an ancient Greek feels weird, but then again...God of War mythology is whack, so that's an even smaller critique.

Rounded up to two stars for the hippo kaiju. That's the best part of the series so far.
