Unfortunately this book just wasn’t for me. I expected a lot of period jokes and talk about it from the summary, but I think if I was 13-14 i would have enjoyed it more. It heads more toward the younger audience for me.
The plot was entertaining but it did take me alittle while to read. I just wanted to keep reading to find out who dunnit. I’ve never been very good at solving mysteries in books, I just go with the flow until it’s revealed, but it does make sense it’s an obvious guess, now that I’m thinking about it.

The author seems to believe that the excessive usage of cussing, alongside the word ‘vagina’ is humorous, and should be shouted out across every page of the book. In the first three pages, there were thirteen of these.

This wasn't a bad book, but I also feel like it could be a lot better. It's heavy on the period jokes and I think that that will be better for a younger reader. It was still an amusing book that didn't take a lot of effort to get through. It did make me go 'haha' a few times, but also made me cringe A LOT.
