Daddy's Gone A-Hunting by Mary Higgins Clark follows the lives of sisters Kate and Hannah Connelly as a dark secret threatens their lives. when the family-owned furniture firm in Long Island City, founded by their grandfather explodes into flames in the middle of the night. The ashes reveal a startling discovery, and provokes suspicions and questions.

I didn't really enjoy this book because I found there was too many point of views and Storylines to keep up with. I also found some of the point of views boring especially Hannah's.

Mary Higgins Clark never disappoints, that would be why she is my favorite. Listened to this one on tape, really wish I would have read it, but a thriller like always!

I used to love MHC but in the past 10 years or so the books just haven't been as good. This one had way too much exposition in the dialogue which made the whole story seem stilted.

I liked this one more than I expected to. Lots going on, few slow spots, women weren't complete morons. So, 4 stars!

I have always lived MHC but I feel like her last couple of books have been lacking. This one in particular was very boring in the beginning and hard to get into. 3.5 stars

It was entertaining until near the end. It was wrapped up too quickly, within like 15 or so pages. Very disappointing.

MHC ei petä koskaan. Vaikea laskea käsistään, koska tarve saada tietää, onko itse arvannut oikein, on melko suuri :D
