I went into this thinking I wouldn't like it and I was only finishing it for a reading challenge. I thought it would take me days but instead I finished it in less than 10 hours and I don't know how to feel.

Even though I knew how it was going to end because I've read this author's books before so I knew that the ending wasn't going to be bad I still had a pit in my stomach.  I was so tense by page 180 that I started skimming the following chapters to figure out exactly when
they got rescued.
.

I don't really have anything to say about this because I have no negative thoughts at all. I really love that there's a Filipino MC because I've never read a book with a Filipino mc before.  I appreciate that the age gap wasn't a plot point whatsoever. I really really love when it is a point of contention but it was just nice that because there were so many other things going on the age gap wasn't a problem.

Troy and Brian are sweet and i really believe that their relationship can continue off the island because I felt like it wasn't just trauma bonding.  I really like that Brian got a job as a
flight instructor as a  way to stay grounded and still be involved with flying
