Crime fiction's oddest team are back for a second time. I wondered how a follow-up story would work but was pleasantly surprised. Pascha and Martin are still engaging characters and the plot perked along quite nicely. Listened to the audio version once again read by MacLeod Andrews who does a great job with Pascha's first person narration.

I absolutely loved this book. I listened to the audio version (as I did the first) and found it even better than Morgue Drawer Four. I won't tell you much about the plot other than if you like crime fiction, enjoy humor, enjoy a snarky and overly honest narrator with a conscience, read these books, or pick up the audiobook. The narrator of the audiobook (thanks audible) did a fantastic job with all characters and made a funny book hilarious! As I listen to audiobooks to and from work, I am sure the drivers in the cars around me thought I was nuts. Oh well! It is well worth the listen.

I loved this book!! Crime fighting via a ghost is one part jerk, one part street smart and one part good heart. Martin certainly is long suffering.

Morgue Drawer book 2

Our ghost is back to solve another mystery with lots of fun and shenanigans! I love to laugh when reading and these books come through every time! We have nuns, contractors and an ear cut off during an autopsy!! I'm off to book 3.
