SK is such a great fantasy writer, why doesn’t he write more books like this one???

I read the illustrated version of this book and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the illustrations.

As the book was ending I wished that I had known about this book when my kids were little. This would have been an excellent bedtime read.

Good characters of course because duh Stephen King, but the plot was very predictable. I wish I hadn’t read Fairy Tale before this one, clearly my expectations set the bar way too high when it comes to King writing traditional fantasy.
