this was such a good book and i really liked how the author made me care about the romance, the characters, and the mystery! i totally didn't see the reveal coming at all! it deserves the 5 stars its getting for sure.

A murder mystery set in Joseon Dynasty in Korea. The story mixes fiction with history in a brilliant way. This is book is amazing! A must read!

Y'know, this book was a compelling and easy ready and also had some interesting history I didn't know much about. The execution was maybe a little lacking and everything resolved too quickly but I can't deny that I had fun. So, four stars it is.
