Holiday romances get me EVERY time, and this one was as just sweet as can be. I feel like it matched the holiday vibe of just joyous and warm and cozy and happy and I loved that!! I loved the relationship development, the MMC rescuing the FMC from mean people, the holiday mishaps, it was just SO FREAKIN CUTE. A+

I am a massive Tessa Bailey fan and LOVE all of her books and her writing style. When I saw this super cute holiday rom-com I squealed at the chance to read it. This book gave me the feels and made me laugh out loud so many times.

The characters are well developed with incredible dialogue and the plot is fantastic. This was such a fun read that is just want you expect from the authors books. I read this book in one sitting and lost track of time being emerged in the book. This will be my book clubs holiday monthly read, I can’t wait to share this amazing book with everybody that I know.

This would have been a DNF if it wasn’t for a book club. Couldn’t stand Beat through this whole book; pathetic MMC with a weird kink. The mom’s storyline was the most interesting part of this whole book. That and the cute ending is the reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

Heavily missed that “Christmas” vibe from this one, but enjoyed it anyways.

So I thought it would be a fun Christmas read. Turns out their names gave me the ick.

The storyline in itself was great! The way the characters were built as well, but the names of the main characters were not very inspiring… beat and melody named by two singers.. come on

This was fine, and the sexy scenes were solid. Although, omg, in the beginning when the book was hinting about
Beat's sUpEr wEiRd sEx tHiNg, I thought it was going to be something like, very unique that I had not heard of in the world of kink. It was just edging!!!!! Like!!!! The book made it seem like he could only get off drinking human blood or something! ALSO it sounds like Ms. Bailey didn't even do a medium Google on kink because the whole way Beat went about it, making Melody feel terrible in the process, was awful!
Also, I really really could not believe that I was supposed to buy that Beat is a real name that was going to be said during sex lol. Also you CAN have a Beat without a Melody, sir. The plot was fine, but the ending
seemed abrupt.
