I don’t know how I feel about this one. The second half was definitely better than the first. Melody grew on me and was dorky and funny in an adorable way.

I wish they were slightly younger because their words and actions sound more like mid-twenty year olds than thirty year olds
and I wish they would talked occasionally even if it was once a year or something after they first met because it would’ve helped curb the insta list. I did feel like the elevator sex scene was ill-timed and diminished the conversation they were having
the blackmailer reveal and Beat’s kink reveal weren’t handled well. It felt like the bomb was dropped mid-sentence and we moved on like nothing.

I liked the little things they did for each other showing how obviously in love they were it was adorable. I loved how Melody stood up to her mom. I also love that the story was really about Beat and Melody and their parents were the background

This was my first time reading a holiday romance, and it was a jolly af good time! Melody and Beat must get their estranged moms to reunite their beloved rock duo for a million dollar payout—all on live TV that ends up being as obsessed with the romance between Melody and Beat as they are with any rhythm or rhyme. Much steamier than it is Christmasy, I’d recommend for any rom-com fan looking for just a little festivity with all their smut ☺️🎄❄️

Tessa Bailey is back at it again with a BANGER. When I read the 'Broke and Beautiful' series, Bailey had put in a little sneak peek at the end of each book and I could not explain the excitement I had, waiting for this book to come out.

I WASN'T DISAPPOINTED!!! 'Wreck the Halls' is now my newfound favourite book (sorry Brandon and Piper), and nobody can say anything to make me think otherwise. I love the chemistry between Melody and Beat, the understanding, the obsession they had for one another. I know I'm a bit early for the Christmas season, but I don't care and neither should ya'll. PLEASE READ IT, YOU WON'T REGRET IT <3
