3.5/5 - This is the first book I've read by the author, I haven't read Maid yet. While this book did have good insights and reflection, it also showcases the author's emotional immaturity. And she has totally justified reasons to be emotionally immature. But it's the lack of inward looking and external blame that made it difficult for me to connect with her. Though that speaks more to my privilege and fortune, it is challenging for me to enjoy a memoir where I'm not inspired by the person.

This was good, but not very dissimilar to her first book. It definitely expanded upon her life and experience and picked up where things left off in a metaphorical sense and I do not discount the message because it is very important and impactful, I just felt like she could have jumped a little bit more. But also I understand they were different focuses. Very impactful sentiments and hard to read because it is hard to hear. Overall it was good I just expected different I think.
