I understand that Rebecca Serle is not every person's cup of tea but I love her stories. In Five Years is one of my favorites of all time and this one took me on a similar rollercoaster. Serle comes up with super fascinating story ideas and implements them is such an emotionally abusive way (complimentary/deragatory depending on how you feel about her books) that just gets my heart beating. Loved every inch of this book but especially the ending.

I found this book to be pretty shallow and uninteresting. That being said it’s an easy listen… kinda like watching a hallmark movie.
