I’m not usually surprised by cop/mystery novels so I really enjoyed this stories unique conflict.... The chemistry between Ayers and Lauren is familiar and tangible, it feels like a comfortable FanFiction but not too much that it’s not sustainable otherwise.

This is my second time reading The Red Files, and I'm still impressed. I love everything about The Red Files. The mystery part of the story is absorbing. Technology, politics, and the right to privacy are dangerous when mixed and should not be taken lightly by the masses. The well-paced romantic relationship between Catherine "Caustic Queen" Ayers and Lauren "Won't Back Down" King is a tad bit predictable, but their overall chemistry is sweet, and their banter is entertaining.

Here's the thing, a lot of people have already said that this is an amazing story. Well, believe them because they're telling the truth. This book is worth it! A very exciting mystery with a wonderfully built love story.

Lee Winter is one of the best. A brilliant writer. She has this entertaining and very engaging style of writing that will make you finish a book in a day or in one sitting if you will.
I finished six of her books in less than a month. And there's this pleasing and satisfying feeling every time I get to finish her book. She's a gem.

It took me 200 pages to get into the story. In the end it was pretty good. 3.5 but rounded down since it took so long to hook me in.

What an insane blood soaked ride with an ending to match! Even though the MC Fernando flees Mexico after pissing of the wrong people, he can’t help himself falling back into a line of work, dealing drugs, that has been lucrative for him, but he could be doing this at his own peril. There are no saints, but the demons he prays for protection from are very real in human form. Zero Saints is both brutal and bleak, with a tentative relief at the end. I couldn’t put down the end couple dozen pages of this book because how everything turned out was so crazy!

Okay first things first..”the voicemail part” 6 stars!!! I laughed and cried real tears reading them. Jeez...did I feel everything. So why only 4 (4,2) stars? I am a romance lesfic lover, not so much a “journalistic uncovering” novel lover. So I skipped a lot of pages that I really didn’t care about because of the journalistic uncovering bit. The fact that it still gets this much is because of the great chemistry and dialog between Catherine and Lauren. It was there from page one to their sexy/erotic short story Flashbang(see book Laid Bare) to the epilogue in this book. I loved them! So I will be reading the sequel.
