My jaw is literally on the floor right now. 
This book was so much better than Powerless, which I still loved, but it lacked in originality. This one felt completely different, but with the same awesome characters and banter that is chefs kiss. 
It also emotionally destroyed me a little bit. (“I used to braid her hair”, “because the beast doesn’t get the beauty.”) 😫
But yea, definitely the best one so far!!

I liked this book a lot actually. Nothing really happened, but I liked the book because I like the characters, if the book had just been about the characters watching paint dry, I would’ve been completely content as well. But I am aware that if it weren’t for me liking the characters, I would be pissed because nothing happened in the book. Lowkey for most of the book Kai and Pae were just in the scorches running from each other or with each other or against each other and then a crazy ending. Lowk fire tho ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
