The story gripped me and made it hard to put down. There were so many twists and turns, it made it hard to tell what was going to happen in the end. And the ending wasn't what I expected at all, which was a good thing! Curious to check out some of this author's other works :)

This was bad. Super unbelievable plot with a lot of craziness to it. Thrillers are good when you could see something realistically happening to a certain extent. However, this was just a load of nonsense. The topics discussed and the sex elements/obsessions did also make me uncomfortable.

The writing style was too distracting as it was always going into being a “script” so would distract me from the story etc and disrupt any flow it had. The Baudelaire poetry references and focus were also weird to me.

I really hope that the other books I have from the same author start to get better.
