A Glasgow Kiss

A fun easy read! Not for the faint hearted. Obviously not the best written book I’ve ever read but I enjoyed it as a wee pick me up!

Kindle read!
I loved the fact this was based in Glasgow and I got through it in like 24 hours but the Scottish slang was a bit much for me. V graphic. It was like every single Scottish cliche was thrown at the page - deep fried Mars bars etc etc.
Considering the age of Zara her lack of life organisation was surprising, felt like she was school/uni age with her dirty dishes & unclean clothes every day.
Also I found it bizarre that given Zara was training to be a nurse and having a fair amount of casual sex….not one mention of protection?!!

*2.5

I wasn't sure what I was expecting before starting this book.

At times I found Zara to be annoying but realistic. I was annoyed by her near constant need to have sex and how nearly every thought consisted of thinking about a man's penis. I felt that she was constantly making the same mistakes with every guy she encountered except for Raj (her boss) and Dave (her best friends BF/fiance). Question how is it she is always surprised by her period that appears to be regular??

I love that Zara finally found what she needed in her life to make herself see happy and complete.

The book did appear to have grammatical errors but it didn't distract me while reading.

Read in one day, really easy read! Bit cringe at times

This was a great easy read which was needed after reading the ACOTAR series! It was funny and lightweight with a surprisingly good amount of spice and full of realistic expectations.

This is so crass and gross and awful. No idea how it’s sold so many copies.
