This was a really silly tonic of a book. The story was light hearted and I tore through the pages.

My biggest issue, and this is a HUGE issue, is that there were SO many grammatical errors it made me cringe. Incorrect use of ‘there’ and ‘too’ and so many ‘I done’s. The second person in the acknowledgements was the proof-reader!! I’m sorry, but I suggest Sophie Gravia gets a new and better proof reader.

Don't bother with this one. Poorly written and extremely fat phobic.

Poor writing style, bad grammar, crassness that is supposed to be funny but just comes across as borderline offensive. Trying to be a Scottish Bridget Jones & failing miserably

probably best for people who aren’t into reading? easy to read but not very well written. was funny at times but got repetitive. jokes were kinda distasteful at times. local references were fun tho

Fun, funny and entertaining.

I loved so much of this book for the setting (Glasgow has my heart) and the sheer relatability factor.
If you want a quick fun read - go for it.

Wow i finished this book in a day. It was funny and such an easy read. The story follows a woman looking for “the one” and she has many different experiences during this journey. While the book was steamy it didn’t take itself too seriously and had a lot of funny moments, some that are quite relatable. Fun wee read.

4 stars are not for the literary value, but the entertainment from reading it! It was full of cliches, but I was feeling for Zara while I was reading this book. I kept cringing, laughing out loud so many times, feeling second hand embarrassment in certain parts. It was also fun seeing all the places I know being mentioned (living in Glasgow for 2 years). Overall a really fun light read!

Easy read and really, really funny! Added bonus of the Scottish patter all the way through it and enjoyed reading about areas I know of!
