Okay 4.5 stars but I rounded up! This story had me captivated from start to finish. It took me all of 3 days. I was totally absorbed. And I have never read a book that has legitimately scared me. But this one did absolutely did. I even liked the ending and how it all came together. I was thinking throughout how I could never have watched this as a movie, too scary. But now that I’ve read the book, I wish that it was one! Very well done. I also enjoyed the writing styled and the back and forth between timelines. It’s perfect for Halloween! I’d recommend this to anyone or any book club.

Reminded me of the true crime/thriller story of the watcher. I really wasn’t expecting the ending, which I find to be rare. I did think we didn’t need all of the dad’s passages, and all the exciting Stuff happened at the end. But over All really enjoyed.

Could not get into this at all - potentially because of the narrator. Will try the hard copy someday.

Sager writes the best thrillers. Surprised me once again in the best possible way. I literally want a film/TV adaptation of his books ASAP.
