I was super pumped to read this book after reading Big Little Lies. This book started out good but never changed. It just seemed to bump along with no great revelations or changes. A bit of a disappointment.

I dithered about the star rating for this one. On the one hand, I couldn't put it down, because I needed to find out what would happen. However, once we got past the "big reveal" (what was in the letter), I got impatient with the twists and turns.
This is the second book I've read recently where marriages fall apart and I'm reading because I'm curious to know how they'll survive their marriage breakup and what their future will be - but at the end, the author sends them all
The plot was fairly predictable. I guessed most of what happened. However, it was an easy read and I liked the characterisation. I would read more of Ms Moriarty.

scurrying back into the safety of their marriage, "for the sake of the children", even though their relationship with their husband sounds untenable. Not my idea of a happy ending but perhaps that's because I'm not a mother.The plot was fairly predictable. I guessed most of what happened. Another fantastic book by Liane Moriarty - I was hooked in the first few pages, and I have realised that she has this great skill of withholding the secrets of a book until that pivotal moment.
