While the choose-your-own-adventure "Adventure Time" portion of this issue stressed me out because there was so much happening all at once, I couldn't help but laugh at the ways the choices intermingled. I read that portion of this volume three or four times, attempting to read every panel, and I'm not sure if I succeeded but it was a fun time regardless.

As for the rest of this volume, I am obsessed with the idea of Marcelina hanging out with Jake and Finn to play video games, for starters. I also love that this volume celebrates her intelligence, just like Vol. 2 celebrated PB's -- the fact that Ryan North & co. recognize that ladies get shit done (especially the ladies of "Adventure Time") is really important to me, especially given all of the sexist bullshit that seems to surround this show and its fandom. Marceline kicked major ass in this volume and I just want to read more, more, more, more, more.

I'm now going to devour every other "Adventure Time" comic that I can get my hands on, because I'm in love.

Another fun collection, though I wasn't as fond of the BMO virus story, felt like it went on too long. Plus, I don't like to see BMO HURT! :-(

North's asides and love letter to his illustrators were quite charming.

Utterly charming. Great jokes and puns throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed North's asides. Still surprised by how well a comic can capture the energy, atmosphere, and humour of the animated cartoon.

The first issue in this one, with the “choose your own adventure” stuff I didn’t really like. I felt like it was a bit too much. But other than that I really enjoyed it!

Among the things we get in this installment of the Adventure Time comic is a joyfully convoluted Choose Your Own Adventure, computer hacking, fun video game callbacks, and farting.

In other words, it's exactly what you expect, exactly what I wanted, and basically continues being a pitch-perfect translation of the cartoon to the comic. Just excellent.

This one was really great! The choose your own adventure part was a great use of format that probably wouldn’t translate to TV, and the video game/virus part was just a really compelling cool idea. My favorite volume so far!
