Lots of drama, but still couldn't put it down.

I have read several of Kerry Lonsdale's books. I love that as I'm reading, I can clearly picture the scene in my head. I really enjoyed this storyline...as in other of her books, it leaves you wanting more! I cannot wait for No More Lies...and I wonder if there will be a third book telling us more about Lucas!!!

Title: No More Words (book 1 in trilogy)

Author: Kerry Lonsdale

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lonsdale has an incredible art for storytelling. She builds characters and plots that suck you in and leave you feeling like you know the people and places. She pulls you into the moment without talking at you with unnecessary detail.

I'm a dialogue girl. I like stories with great conversation and that is dialogue to keep stories going vs excess description. Lonsdale does this.

I'll admit that I started the story with an eye roll because I thought it was going to be a group of spoiled siblings with a politician father. Yuck! Not my usual story and not something I'd want to read.

I was wrong. Really I should have known better. Cliche plots aren't Lonsdale's usual style and I shouldn't have expected it. I'm so glad I was wrong. Olivia and her siblings are the children of a father running for office and they live under a microscope. They enjoy summer trips with friends and we watch lifelong friendships form.

Present day shows us to Olivia dealing with her own life as an adult. A series of events (not listing because I hate spoilers in reviews) lead Olivia to begin to search to uncover her family's secrets and what she finds can't stay buried anymore.

I received an advanced digital copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

I liked the book, however I felt that there were a lot of unanswered questions regarding details.

This book was good but mostly ok. The mystery about what happened to lily but it was kind of anticlimactic. I was disappointed in the ending and the last chapter. Don’t want to continue the series

Absolutely devoured this!

This book was so good, I finished it in a day! I thought I had guessed the ending but my detective skills weren’t good enough to see past the red herring the author created! The only negative thing was that I was disappointed the sequel wasn’t on Kindle Unlimited.
