Narnia series is wonderful and entertaining! I don’t feel like this sequel pulled me in as much as the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe but I did still enjoy it.

I thought Prince Caspian was intriguing. Whereas The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is a anaolgy for Christ, His death, and His ultimate ressurrection, Prince Caspian more closely parallels our modern day situation. In other words, how do we go about believing in someone that walked our world thousands of years ago and living in light of that fact?
Lewis explores the responses of people to the idea of Aslan (God). To some, Aslan is Living Truth; to some, time has allowed doubts to creep in, and Aslan is but a blurry shadow; to others, He has become a legend; and to still others, he is merely a myth that never truly existed.
While Prince Caspain was interesting, it was not quite as richly packed with meaning, metaphors, and analogies as The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, hence the 4/5 star rating.

I had to unfortunately put this one down at about 35% (audio through libby)
I just wasn't enjoying this one as much as I enjoyed The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
It was still a great story, maybe it's just too young for me? When my kids reach an age to be able to read these I will definitely be picking this series back up to listen/read with them.
